Pair with one of MAMO’s signature cocktails or with wine from the restaurant’s extensive collection. For that special New Year’s dinner, guests can enjoy a set menu featuring Sword Fish Carpaccio, Green Apple and Champagne Risotto and homemade Panettone with Ice Cream and Marnier sauce. MAMO truly captures the Riviera’s “sense of home” with original family photos and oversized vintage movie posters. For the comfort of Christmas at Grandma’s house without the hassle of cooking it yourself, visit celeb favorite Good Enough to Eat. The restaurant will be open on Christmas Day, serving up signature delicacies from a special menu at dinner as well as its regular breakfast/brunch menu until 4:00 pm.

To start, guests will have their choice between a Butternut Squash Soup or Oyster Bisque. Family-owned and world-renowned Il Gattopardo restaurant will feature traditional yet adventurous Holiday Chef’s Specials, in addition to their full a la carte menus, on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Il Gattopardo’s Christmas Specials will include “Linguine with Maine Lobster in a spicy cherry tomato sauce” and “Broiled Dover Sole, extra virgin olive oil and lemon, served with winter caponata”. On New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, Il Gattopardo will serve such dishes as “Fried Artichoke ‘Giudea’ style and natural aged Parma prosciutto” and “Risotto with wild porcini mushrooms and robiola cheese.” Brunch will be served over both the Christmas and New Year’s weekends.

Il Gattopardo is not only known for delicious cuisine but also for great cocktails. Award-winning mixologist Renata Yamlihanova has created three new cocktails especially for the holiday season. Sweet, Hot and Spicy Santas are now available: “Sweet Santa” features peppermint, lemon and cranberry flavors, while “Hot Santa” mixes Bulleit Bourbon, Fernet Branca and Lillet, garnished with an orange peel. “Spicy Santa” features rosemary and orange peel infused gin, grapefruit juice and honey syrup.

Classic and chic Italian restaurant The Leopard at des Artistes will feature traditional yet adventurous Holiday Chef’s Specials, in addition to their full a la carte menus, on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. The Leopard’s Christmas Specials will include “Risotto with lobster and sautéed artichoke” and Executive Chef Vito Gnazzo’s traditional “Oven-roasted Capretto scented with rosemary, served with peas and roasted potatoes.” On New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, The Leopard will ring in the new year with delectable items such as “Organic Farro and porcini mushroom soup” and “Risotto with Prosecco, winter radicchio and stracchino cheese.” Brunch will be served over both the Christmas and New Year’s weekends.

Also on New Year’s Eve, The Leopard will feature a special late seating at 10pm; Chef Vito’s Pre-Set New Year’s Eve Menu will feature Lobster Ravioli, Sauteed Veal Medallion scented with wild fennel pollen, served with roasted fingerling potatoes and Brussels sprouts, and a Traditional “Cotechino con Lenticchie – Italian sweet pork sausage slow cooked with organic lentils herbs. “Festive” is the key word here; the restaurant will be decorated for the occasion, there will be music, and noise-makers will be handed out for the countdown. Right before midnight, diners are also encouraged to leave their seats (and the restaurant) to walk to the corner to watch the beautiful Central Park fireworks up close!

The Southampton Inn hosts the best party in Southampton. This New Year’s Eve will be the 19th year that the Inn has put on the big event. The boutique hotel capitalizes on the Norman Rockwell-esque experience that Southampton offers during the winter. This year they have added a live band, The Hamptons Swingtet! Festivities begin at 4 p.m. with a candle light tour of the historic Rogers Mansion with the Southampton Historical Museum, which is about a 10 minute walk through the village. There, guests will have cider and cookies before strolling back to the Inn’s library for prosecco and cheese. As part of the party package, the open bar begins in the downstairs bar at 7 p.m. The evening continues with a four course dinner catered by the iconic Brent Newsom Caterer that includes multiple and vegetarian entrée options. The band, dancing, champagne toast, overnight room and New Year’s Day Breakfast are all included in the packages. Guests enjoy early check in and late check out so they can enjoy all of the events.
