It was a party in paradise with DJ Cassidy, Shaggy, Wyclef Jean & Malibu (rum) celebrating their hit song of summer “If You Like Pina Coladas” at The Surf Lodge in Montauk, New York, (Hamptons), over Labor Day Weekend on September 3rd.
The party kicked off at 4pm on September 3rd with a packed deck of hamptonites excited to celebrate the last weekend of Summer out east. The special performance by Shaggy and Cassidy continued the excitement around their smash summer remake of “If You Like Pina Coladas” also featuring Rayvon. For The Surf Lodge performance, they welcomed special guest Wyclef to join the fun. As the sun shined bright, the crowd danced to the voice of Shaggy and continued the enjoyment as the sun began to set while Wyclef took center stage, Cassidy on the mic, deejaying and performing at the Montauk bash, to the see of smiling guests.
Before they performed the new song, The Surf Lodge with the help of DJ Cassidy, passed out 100 Pina Coladas to the crowd, who was already grooving with their pineapple flavored drinks in hand and a sea of Malibu bottles on all VIP tables. Designer Kenny Flowers also debuted a collaboration earlier this summer in celebration of National Pina Colada day with Malibu Rum. At the Montauk bash, The waitresses, waiters and bartenders at The Surf Lodge all rocked the super chic and colorful Kenny Flowers x Malibu Rum custom shirts, while the pattern rotated on the LED backdrop during the Cassidy led performances.
