Rhonda’s Kiss and Global Empowerment Mission Unite In Los Angeles To Support City of Hope Cancer Patients Affected By The LA Wildfires With Partners Anastasia Beverly Hills, Jonah’s Kitchen and J’Adore Les Fleurs

On Tuesday, April 22nd, many came together with a shared purpose—to support cancer patients in need through the Cancer Patient Care Program at City of Hope LA. Rhonda’s Kiss is dedicated to easing the burden of non-medical expenses that are not covered by insurance, including costs like wigs, childcare, rent, mortgage payments, utilities, transportation, groceries, household essentials, ambulance services, lost wages, holistic therapy, and massage. rhondaskiss.org

This meaningful event was hosted by Director Danny A. Abeckaser, alongside Rhonda’s Kiss Executive Director Kyle Stefanski, and Global Empowerment Mission CEO and Founder Michael Capponi globalempowermentmission.org, with emcee, Ashlee Haas, and special guest Eustace “Blue” Montgomery Hicks.

This particular fundraiser focused on providing critical housing assistance to cancer patients and their families who were displaced due to recent wildfires and lost their homes or rental units. Through GEM’s housing relocation program, all funds raised at the event were matched, amplifying our impact and helping us reach even more families in need.

Talent included David Arquette, actress Chloe Cherry, artist Pozzi Pozzi,  Darren Weiss, Philanthropist Nancy Davis, Diana Madison, Salena Martell, Bruna Rubio, Hannah Linderman, Paola Paulin, Olga Aguilar, artist Tolou, actor Bo Dietl, Danielle Druz, comedian Mike Young, Joy Ledger, Smilez, Kailyn Shepherd and Sergio Farias, Dr. Raynold Samoa of City Of Hope also spoke to the room, discussing their impact, Ashley Haas hosted the evening, and performances by Bryce Vine and Mitchy Collins of Lovely The Band wowed the room of guests in the intimate setting.

The charity event featured a beauty bar by Anastasia Beverly Hills and custom floral arrangements by J’Adore Les Fleurs and catering by chef Jonah Johnson of Jonah’s Kitchen with Golden Reserve Caviar, and including sponsors El Cristiano Tequila, Absolut, Jefferson’s Bourbon, Beefeater Gin, Malibu Rocky Oaks red wine, Brancott Estate white wine, Sainte Marguerite En Provence Rose, Acqua Panna and San Pellegrino water, plus Smilez energy drink and Heineken beer.
