The Jersey Tomato Co. celebrated the official brand partnership announcement of renowned chef and notable ‘Top Chef’ Head Judge Tom Colicchio with an intimate dinner at his restaurant Little River in NYC. The evening showcased a curated menu by Chef Colicchio, with dishes incorporating the newly launched sauces; Marinara, Tomato Basil, and Spicy. Guests enjoyed signature dishes including Seafood Cioppino which features the Spicy variety, Chicken Cacciatore which features the Marinara variety, and Vegetable Bolognese, utilizing the Tomato Basil flavor. The New Jersey native joins the JTC family as consultant, equity partner and brand ambassador for the brand’s 2020 relaunch, complete with new packaging for their signature 25oz sauce jars featuring Colicchio as well as the introduction of innovative 10oz sauce pouches.
The brand will unveil the new packaging officially at Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, CA, the largest food product and organic product trade show of the year, on March 5th – 7th, 2020, with a special appearance by Colicchio on March 5th. Product with the new label officially hits shelves in mid-March.
The sauces are available featuring the new Colicchio labels beginning in mid-March, with placement at retailers including Sprouts, Shoprite and Harris Teeter, for $7.99 per jar.
