Global hospitality curator Richie Akiva celebrated his birthday in style at The Ned NoMad, his new membership club and hotel in the historic North Madison District of NYC, a joint alignment with Akiva and Ron Burkle, that has been all the buzz this fashion week having hosted events for Vanity Fair, GQ, Vogue, Puma, Flaunt, Coach, Dior, Kid Cudi and more.
The private bash took place on the intimate The Ned Rooftop where guests attended a sit-down dinner under the stars which kicked off just after 9pm of the newly opened hotspot with direct views of the Empire State Building and the historic North Madison district. Following the intimate candlelit dinner guests celebrated in The Magic Room. The birthday celebration featured cocktails by D’USSE Cognac and Armand de Brignac champagne. Hip Hop Beats were deejayed all night by Jase.
Attendees at the celebration for Akiva included pals Kevin Durant, Drake, Lil Naz X, G-Eazy, Giancarlo Stanton, Scott Disick, Joan Smalls, Imaan Hammam, Rachel Winters, Kiana Alexis, Lexi Wood, DJ Jus Ske, Phillies’ owner John Powers Middleton among many others as well as nightlife industry notables Noah Tepperberg, Ronnie Madra, notable artist Roy Nachum, art dealer Helly Nahmad, Richie’s music artist Badius, signed under Akiva’s management arm, ARME.
The beautiful candlelit dinner on the rooftop featured some of The Ned’s signature dishes such as the Dover Sole, Brick Chicken, Halloumi Croquettes, and Potatoes with Caviar. After dinner, the party continued in a balloon-filled Magic Room.
