Following the New York Fashion Week debut screening of the highly anticipated documentary TWIGGY, directed by Sadie Frost, at an intimate celebration held Thursday evening, September 10th, at Sloane’s at The Manner in SoHo, bringing together Twiggy, filmmaker Sadie Frost, and an exclusive group of friends, artists, actors, designers, fashion figures, and industry leaders. Notable guests included Twiggy, Sadie Frost, Bobby Cannavale, Steve Van Zandt, Maureen Van Zandt, David Stenn, Terry Singh, Deborra-Lee Furness, Fran Drescher, Donna Karan, Nicole Miller, Iris Law, Ellen von Unwerth, Richie Akiva, Julian Schlossberg, Merryn Schlossberg, Richard Koenigsberg, Phillip Bloch, Peter Gounis, Frederick Anderson, David Stern, Norma Kamali, Sergio Farias, Kailyn Shepherd, Diana Madison, Ali Lasky, Kristin Borland, Eytan Rockaway, Simon Hammerstein, Dena Hammerstein, and more, following the exclusive screening in Tribeca.

Hosted by Twiggy and Sadie Frost, the intimate gathering took place at The Manner in Soho, at the sophisticated cocktail lounge Sloane’s, located at 58 Thompson Street. The evening brought together approximately 50 guests to celebrate the upcoming U.S. release of TWIGGY, by Cleopatra Entertainment, which launches with an exclusive DVD and on VOD platforms on September 22nd. This is also Twiggy’s 60th anniversary year of being discovered.

Guests sipped on a selection of signature cocktails, including The Twiggy – a signature Espresso Martini crafted with Absolut Vodka, The Fashion Staple – Sloane’s signature Dirty Martini made with Absolut Vodka and The Absolut Icon – A trendy Dirty Shirley, featuring Absolut Vodka. Wine offerings included Sloane’s red and white house selection and Château Sainte Marguerite Symphonie Rosé, while Rabbit Hole Bourbon was also available by request.
The celebration marked a special moment for the documentary, which offers an intimate and unprecedented look at the life and legacy of one of the world’s first global supermodels. Directed by Sadie Frost, TWIGGY follows Twiggy’s extraordinary journey from her upbringing in London through her meteoric rise to international fame, her career in fashion, film, television and theater, her relationships, and the experiences that shaped her into a global cultural icon.

The documentary also explores the pivotal role the United States played in transforming Twiggy from a British fashion phenomenon into an international superstar. From magazine covers and Broadway to television appearances and her role as a judge on America’s Next Top Model, Twiggy’s influence has extended far beyond the fashion world.
TWIGGY the documentary features interviews with an extraordinary lineup of artists, musicians, designers and actors, including Paul McCartney, Stella McCartney, Dustin Hoffman, Brooke Shields, Sienna Miller, and Charlotte Tilbury. TWIGGY is Sadie’s second feature documentary after the successful release of QUANT which celebrated the life and legacy of the revolutionary 1960’s British fashion designer Dame Mary Quant. Sadie is now directing her third feature doc QUADROPHENIA, which explores the legacy of The Who’s 1973 rock opera and its cultural evolution. TWIGGY the documentary will officially release on September 22nd.
