For the second consecutive summer, Dria Murphy welcomed her wellness community back to the serene grounds of Shou Sugi Ban House in Water Mill, hosting a thoughtfully curated morning centered on movement, beauty, and meaningful connection.
The members-only gathering brought together founders, creatives, editors, and premium members of the by dria community for an experience that reflected Murphy’s approach to intentional living.

Among those in attendance were Molly Sims, Kate Love, Sophie Elgort, Jennifer Fisher, Rebecca Minkoff, Elizabeth Kurpis, Talia Parkinson Jones, Cyndi Ramirez-Fulton, Michelle Grant, Sabrina Rudin, and Kelly Turlington Burns.

The morning began in the property’s tranquil meditation hall with a mat Pilates class led by Matt, founder of ETHĒA, the Tribeca studio known for its precision-driven approach to movement. Built around resilience rather than burnout, the class offered a fitting introduction to a morning designed to feel restorative rather than depleting.
Guests then gathered on the solarium deck, where Shou Sugi Ban House Executive Chef Patrick O’Grady served signature breakfast bites alongside Nekohama matcha and coffee.
Throughout the morning, a selection of wellness and beauty partners complemented the experience. WaterOuai! kept guests hydrated with microplastic-free water, while Each & Every scented the space with candles and invited attendees to sample its clean deodorants and body wash.

Emmy-nominated hair designer Sarah Hindsgaul, known for her work on Stranger Things, also hosted a masking bar devoted to summer hair care.
Every detail was selected by Murphy herself, including the gift bags waiting on each Pilates mat, filled with her go-to summer wellness products.
“Connecting a community of like-minded women who want to take a moment of self-care,” Murphy said in her opening remarks.
The gathering marked the second annual by dria wellness morning at Shou Sugi Ban House, continuing the brand’s growing series of in-person experiences in the Hamptons.
Designed as an extension of the by dria membership, the event offered premium members access to expert-led programming, carefully selected product discoveries, and opportunities to connect with a community centered on thoughtful living.
The next by dria wellness morning will take place on August 1 at Shou Sugi Ban House, with new brand partners and programming to be announced.
The by dria membership offers hand-selected product recommendations, wellness experiences, and lifestyle practices designed to help members discover what is genuinely worth their time, energy, and investment.
