Last night, the much anticipated Augustine, Keith McNally’s new French Restaurant located in the renovated historic Beekman Hotel, opened in NYC.
Breathing fresh air and energy into the Financial District, Keith McNally (owner of the critically acclaimed Cherche Midi, Balthazar, Minetta Tavern) is once again setting out to reinvigorate one of NYC’s neighborhoods with the debut of Augustine. Serving a thoughtful selection of modern French dishes, Augustine’s Co-Executive Chefs Shane McBride and Daniel Parilla have created a menu that strikes the perfect balance of decadent and light all within a bar and dining room whose design compliments and enriches each diner’s experience.
The menu features rotisserie offerings, a grillades section, seasonal vegetables as well as lighter protein options and simple grilled fish and seafood dishes. Desserts at Augustine, created by talented Pastry Chef Regis Beauregard (hailing from Balthazar London), highlight fresh seasonal ingredients with a focus on fruits, creating the perfect end to any meal. The food is complemented by a well-curated wine list, a collection of spirits and a selection of rare aperitifs and digestives. To round out the drink menu, renowned cocktail consultant Dale DeGroff and Augustine’s Head Bartender Francois Morrison have created a cocktail program to suit all palates with their Augustine specialties, a menu of classics and a variety of different martinis.
Augustine is open daily at 5:30pm for dinner. Lunch service will begin on Tuesday, November 29th, brunch the weekend of December 3rd, and breakfast service will begin on Monday, January 2nd.
