Rising Stars: Brokers in the Hamptons
Jonathan Davis is finally at the right place, at exactly the right time.
A month ago, he became the newest face of the Nest Seekers International Bridgehampton office, joining a group of young entrepreneurs who are each chasing their own dreams, inside and out of real estate. He had already learned from one of the top brokers in the Hamptons, his father, Tim Davis, and he was ready to branch out.
“It was a cool experience working with my dad and I learned a lot from him. I have been on my own now going on four years. I just turned 30 years old. The move to Nest Seekers was a long-term alignment. I couldn’t be more excited.”
The seed was planted as a child, Davis said, spending afternoons in his father’s Southampton office, where he was surrounded by real estate professionals. After graduating from Lynn University in 2012, with a passion for business, he entered the real estate industry and is now setting himself apart.
“My father always leads with honesty and integrity with clients, and he’s who I model myself after,” he said. “He leads with his integrity, and when you lead with that, it gives you credibility for years and years, so I think that’s what you have to start with: holding yourself accountable, doing the work, and showing up. I’m outgoing and personable, so when I deal with clients, I have enthusiasm and passion behind it.”
Jonathan Davis is already looking ahead at two properties soon to enter the market, described below.
1051 Sagg Main Street, Sagaponack
This is a 6,000-square-foot, six-bedroom cottage surrounded by farm field views and outfitted with grand living spaces — including a library, media room, and dining room — just two minutes from local farm stands and Sagg Main Beach.
“Selling a home is like selling a piece of art. This piece of land was a blank canvas for the owners, designing every inch of the house along with the furniture. The combination of being positioned on the reserve just steps away to the ocean makes it truly a unique offering that someone will appreciate.”
1663 Majors Path, Towd Point, Southampton
Also within walking distance to the beach, this private oasis has an open floor plan, an eat-in kitchen, a living room with a wood-burning fireplace, media room, and separate accommodations spread throughout. There are two bedrooms on the main floor, a master suite upstairs and one on the lower level, and a stand-alone accessory structure on the 1.1-acre property.
“The biggest takeaways are the structures,” Davis said. “The accessory structure is fully built out. Complete with a fireplace, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living room. The main house has three bedrooms and a separate one-bedroom apartment on the lower level. There is room for the entire family and guests. Towd Point Beach is a mile down the road, along with the Country Deli for morning egg sandwiches.”
