screen-shot-2016-12-20-at-7-53-24-pmEarlier this month, Publicolor hosted the organization’s annual Primer Painting Party. Two hundred adults and children helped Publicolor transform the dreary cafeteria and basement hallway of Urban Assembly School for the Performing Arts on West 129th Street into a warm and welcoming environment for students and staff alike! The fundraising event also included games, face painting and a special story time with award-winning children’s book author-illustrator, Stephen Savage who was the guest of Scholastic,
the event sponsor.

Proceeds from the event went to support the transformation of screen-shot-2016-12-20-at-7-53-58-pmstruggling public schools so low-income students can spend their days in a warm, welcoming and safe environment that’s conducive to learning.
