John Brady – Saunders & Associates

John Brady grew up in Montauk, graduated in 1996 from East Hampton High School, and attended SUNY Maritime College Merchant Marines to study mechanical engineering. Prior to his real estate career, John and his wife, Paty Brady, owned a marketing company in Mexico.
A consistently top producer since entering real estate in 2006, John has been mentioned on the Fox Business Channel with Neil Cavuto and the BBC, and in Crain’s Business, the Financial Times, the New York Post, the London Daily Telegraph, Dan’s Papers, the Independent, the East Hampton Star, Social Life magazine, and on the front page of the Southampton Press, and has been featured in Hamptons Real Estate Showcase magazine.
John studies the real estate market like a stock broker studies stocks. He says, “As an expert, it is my responsibility to know the numbers.” John is a firm believer that you can’t truly know your market unless you work all aspects of it. This includes new construction, luxury homes, land, developments, first-time homebuyer programs and financing, foreclosure (REO), and short sales (default servicing). John is knowledgeable about all of them. Since 2006 he has been responsible for 50 to 70 new transactions every year (compared to the national average of 4 to 6 transactions per agent per year).
The Brady Team consists of the team leader and listing agent, John Brady; three specialists: Patricia Brady, Lourdes Alban, and Brooke Bramoff; and a full-time administrative assistant. He and his team are based in the East Hampton and Westhampton Beach Saunders offices.

40 Bay View Avenue, Amagansett | $1.095M
“There’s Amagansett . . . and there’s everywhere else.”

It’s hard to believe that you can have this remote getaway on Napeague Bay, where only 11 owners on this street get to have this beach all to themselves. This property is just nine lots from the beach. It’s a builder’s own home that was expanded in 1993 with the living room, impressive stone fireplace, second story master bedroom with wood-burning fireplace, full bath with Jacuzzi, and access to the attic with at least 6 feet of headroom for storage. The original part of the house consists of three additional bedrooms, two baths, a den with wood-burning fireplace, and the open kitchen with sliders to the back deck. Whether this is a year-round home for the fantastic school in Amagansett or a summer getaway, it is a unique location. There is also room for a pool. There are wetlands to the rear of the property, so the options for a pool will be between the main house and existing garage or substituting the detached garage for an in-ground pool. The owner put it best, “It’s the quietness that I loved for so long at this location.” Not until you arrive, do you realize that there’s something so special about the Napeague. Enjoy the serenity and just let it be.
