Daniel Gillies, who you might know from The Vampire Diaries, its spinoff The Originals, Saving Hope, and Netflix’s Virgin River, is set to be a household name. The New Zealander is not only starring in the recently released Occupation: Rainfall alongside Ken Jeong, but also stars in Coming Home in the Dark, which has already gotten rave reviews at the Sundance Film Festival and is currently at 86% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Gillies sat down for an interview with Mr. Warburton Magazine, where he talks about everything from his role in Coming Home in the Dark and some of the difference between working in film and television to spending time with his children during quarantine and his personal style.

Gillies has also had roles in Spider-Man 2, Bride and Prejudice, NCIS and True Blood. With total control of the big and small screens, expect to see a lot more of Gillies real soon.
