Inside Look: The Mammoth Media Institute Golf Open at DeBell Golf Club

Mammoth Media Institute founders Tanner Beard and Tomik Monsoori hosted the 3rd Annual Celebrity Golf Open on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at DeBell Golf Club in Burbank, CA, to benefit Mammoth Film Festival. The scramble-style tournament was filled with actors, filmmakers, industry notables and golf world VIPs.

Talent such as Luke Hemsworth, Galen Gering, Tisha Alyn, Sean Guerrero (GolfBalled), Jon Carlo, Josh Cassaday, Kaitleen Shee, Isabelle Shee, Ashley Haas, Hayden Sulte, Ryan Rottman, Shelby Bay, Megan Heaton, Jake Adams, Lauren Pacheco, Lee Johnson, Paul Khoury, Brendan Wayne, Lane Cheek, Darren Sproles, festival founders Tanner Beard and Tomik Mansoori, among others.

Guests sipped on Wild Tonic Jun Kombucha non-alc canned flavor varieties such as Raspberry Goji Rose, Mango Ginger, Blackberry Mint and Blueberry Basil to keep hydrated on the course.  Players also sipped on Casazul tequila throughout the course.

The course featured a Jurassic Put presented by Lucky Golf, and kept track of scoring via Winning Ticket, who also offered a $100k prize for a hole-in-one.

Mammoth Media Institute, which hosts the Mammoth Film Festival each year, is excited to host its annual golf fundraising tournament in Los Angeles, ahead of the February festival. Film industry friends as well as golf industry professionals and notables, all will be taking part in the Sunday golf event. Mammoth Media Institute, founded by filmmakers Tanner Beard and Tomik Mansoori. Tanner also is a notable name in golf, having won ABC’s Holey Moley in 2020 and launching his own White Buffalo Golf apparel line, also a sponsor of the festival. Mammoth Media Institute is a non-profit 501c3 organization that allows for continuous growth of the Mammoth Film Festival annual programs. mammoth.la
