Bonafide pizza connoisseur David Dobrik hosted the official ‘Wavers” launch event at his home in Los Angeles on May 1st for 150 influencers, VIPs and F&B notables, introducing The Original DOUGHBRIK’s Snacks along with Tastemaker Food’s co-founders Adam Cohen and Jerry Bello.

Notable snack industry veterans and co-founders Adam Cohen and Jerry Bello, known for their incredible success in the food and beverage CPG world, have partnered with and globally-loved entertainer and digital megastar David Dobrik and his partner, influencer Ilya Fedorovich, on their nationally recognized pizza brand, DOUGHBRIKs Pizza.
The poolside bash featured a pizza station by DOUGHBRIK’s pizza, a Cloud23 hot sauce station by Chef Luke Thomas where he served “Loco Wavers” pickle-inspired delights using the hot sauces on Spicy Pickle Wavers with toppings piled on, such as cucumber and jicama. The event engaged guests with games such as Lifesize Connect Four, Pickleball, and cornhole, 12 foot high blow up versions of his four signature snack flavor bags, DJ music sets by Sebastian Topete and Jack Henry, a sea of orb balloons, and an abundance of Wavers snack stations at every turn. The bar featured cocktails by Adam Vodka, Olmeca Altos Tequila, Jameson Irish Whiskey, Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey, MALIBU rum, Beefeater Gin, and Peroni Nastro Azzurro beer, plus Celsius energy drinks.
Ahead of the upcoming Sweets and Snacks Show in Indianapolis, Booth 5458, the team celebrated the official launch of The Original DOUGHBRIK’s Snacks under their Tastemaker Foods umbrella. Inspired by the signature pizza flavors from DOUGHBRIK’s Pizza, this new out-of-the-box snack line will bring bold, crave-worthy tastes to the market, establishing a new category of snacking – Wavers.

Dobrik and his partner and childhood friend Ilya Fedorovich brought their Midwest roots to the heart of Los Angeles when they opened their pizza joint in 2022 on the Sunset Strip, with an expanded mission to now bring their love for pizza worldwide through Wavers snacks.
Wavers by The Original DOUGHBRIK’s Snacks introduces four flavors in the collection – Late Night Pizza, Spicy Pickle, Extra Cheesy, and Hot Honey – with no artificial flavors, no preservatives, no cholesterol, trans fat free, non-GMO, and low in calories, with only 140 calories per serving. Wavers fall into a category of snacks that are meant to be “good snacking,” essentially not considered junk food and therefore bingeable without guilt.
Wavers is an innovation to the chip category, introducing a wavy crunchy snack. Each piece is a slightly different shape, which creates a unique texture every time. The goal of the chip is to not just be a snack, but to represent a memory from Dobrik and Fedorovich’s friendship, seasoned by innovation and authenticity. Dobrik’s favorite is the new “Late Night Pizza” flavor, while Ilya’s is “Spicy Pickle” which are the two flavors featured in the first drop.
The launch was also timed to the news of a June rollout into all Albertson’s retail doors nationwide. The official e-comm site is also currently live, having launched May 1st, officially the morning of the event, eatdoughbriks.com, previously available only for pre-order.

Albertsons, the nation’s second largest supermarket retailer, with Banners of Albertsons, Safeway, Vons, Lucky, Jewel Osco, Acme, Andronico’s Randalls and Pavillions is set to be the first to launch the brand new, innovative snack item called Wavers in a nationwide rollout. The product is powered by David Dobrik, one of the world’s leading social media creators.
The plan is to be in stores this June with an everyday suggested retail of $4.99 on the 4.5 oz bags and a suggested retail of $1.79 on the .5 oz bags. The brand will be showcased at Sweets and Snacks in Indianapolis, May 13th -15th.
