Caryn Kalisky-Duffy & John Duffy – NestSeekers International

Caryn Kalisky-Duffy
Caryn was born in Far Rockaway, and raised on the Gold Coast of Long Island. Caryn’s parents were born and raised in Brooklyn where Caryn spent much of her childhood visiting her grandparents. Her grandfather owned a wholesale paper and twine business on Havemeyer Street in Williamsburg for over 40 years. While growing up, Caryn always heard her great-aunt Judith tell stories about the wonders of buying and selling real estate. Judith was one of the largest owners of real estate in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. She primarily owned commercial buildings that she leased out to business owners on long-term leases. Judith was a savvy businesswoman who taught Caryn the importance of being informed, fair, and an overall good human being in all real estate business dealings.
Earlier in her career Caryn spent over 20-years in education as an inclusion advocacy and curriculum modification specialist, and after that ventured into the world of tech by becoming a contract worker for Google. Always having a passion for real estate, Caryn decided to make it her full-time career.

John Duffy
After completing his undergraduate and graduate studies in finance, John started his career on Wall Street at a major brokerage firm. John was then recruited to be part of the executive team of the largest cell phone (mobile handset) distributor in North America with annual sales of $2.7 billion. John was responsible for the acquisition and management of more than $200 million in inventory. He was the lead member of the vendor and sales team negotiating with international and domestic manufacturers and wireless carriers.
In 2007, the company was acquired by a Silicon Valley firm and he and his family were relocated to sunny Palo Alto, California. He has worked alongside and developed relationships with many high-tech and aerospace professionals in the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2014 he joined the top producing real estate team at Berkshire Hathaway in Silicon Valley.
