The annual Met Gala “The After” party was hosted by Diddy, Doja Cat and Richie Akiva, taking social media by storm with a flood of photos showcasing a guest list that certainly dominated the afterparty scene.
The epic bash, an annual event by Akiva, was held at the iconic NYC venue The Box kicked off at midnight and we are told went until 6am with a parade of Met Gala attendees arriving until sunrise.
DJ sets were performed by D Nice, Tunez, and Hank K with a surprise performance by Teyana Taylor from the upper balcony, as Diddy and son Christian Combs rotated on the mic throughout the night among guests like Mary J, Usher and French Montana, while guests danced and mingled all night on the dance floor as part of Diddy’s “Club Love.”
The annual late-night after party was an ode to the great Karl Lagerfeld. The Box was completely transformed featuring black and white furniture, oversized white Chanel-inspired flowers, chandeliers and table sconces draped with pearls, white floral decor, candles, oversized sleek black gloss candelabras, and full of Karl Lagerfeld inspiration to honor the great Chanel designer. Richie Akiva hosts the annual Met-themed bash each year to much anticipation, with last year’s “The After” party at The Box was co-hosted by Cara Delevigne.
Guests at the celebratory soiree sipped on Diddy’s own CIROC Vodka and Deleon Tequila cocktails, as bottles flowed of Champagne Armand de Brignac and D’USSE cognac both at the bar and on all VIP tables. Guests at the affair also enjoyed Packwood by PacksPod Disposable Vapes
Late-night bites were served by Made in NY Pizza and Neat Burger keeping partygoers fed all evening. Pizzas flooded the room circulating around the dancefloor close to 3am, with another round of burgers and fries hitting rotation around 4am.

Richie Akiva once again partnered with the team from Outside the Box Amusements (The Box), for the Met Gala after party event featuring their talented performers and dancers, the majority of which were draped in pearls and sexy lingerie in line with the Chanel theme. Venus De Fleur also provided custom letter KL logo florals for the event.
