Global nightlife personalities Richie Akiva, an iconic New York nightlife pioneer, and Darren Dzienciol, the LA-based nightlife notable, hosted their annual pre-Oscar party celebration at an incredible 24,000 square foot sprawling Bel Air estate transformed into a glistening Oscar-themed ambiance, flooded with candles, gold statue Oscar silhouettes, red velvet walkways and black lacquer decor.

Akiva and Dzienciol are known for their lavish, A-List and highly coveted parties. Their recent New Year’s Eve celebration in St. Barth and Amfar gala event made international headlines, hosted on one of the world’s largest yachts with the likes of Jeff Bezos and the world’s top supermodels. The duo throws pop-up parties during the Cannes Film Festival, the Grand Prix in Monaco, Paris Fashion Week, and the Oscars annually. The latest bash, the highly coveted Oscars weekend black-tie affair held in Los Angeles, featured a surprise DJ set and live performance by Travis Scott, including both a DJ set and live mic performance simultaneously, in collaboration with DJ Hank Korsan. Prior to their set was a featured DJ performance by the legendary DJ Cassidy. The ultra-exclusive A-List bash included notable talent and influencers who celebrated on Oscar Eve into the wee hours.
Guests at the bash by Akiva included G-Eazy, Ashley Benson, Tyga, Casey Affleck and girlfriend Caylee Cowan, Venus and Serena Williams, Future, rapper YG, Andre 3000, Tobey Maguire, Vincent Laresca, VS model Sara Sampaio and Jasmine Tookes, Whitney Peak, Carmella Rose, Frankie Delgado, Jessica Belkin, Michelle Wozniak, Agatha Moreira, Izabella Metz, Valentina Sampaio, Kara del Toro, Suede Brooks, Delilah Belle, and MANY more.
As partygoers made their way through the grandiose hallways of the estate and exterior garden patios, they sipped on DECADA, the new gluten-free and plant-based Sparkling Tequila featuring flavors like Cucumber Lime and Pineapple Mint, plus Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila, along with Ace of Spades, 1942, and full bar offerings as champagne and wine flowed all night. Attendees also enjoyed a sprawling sushi and sashimi bar, Butter Bun, the delicious plant-based burger, and chocolate-coated popcorn treats by Candy Pop M&M’s ®Minis.
Guests were chauffeured from the estate in Bel Air, the night ahead of the Oscars; celebrating the 2022 Academy Awards.
