Distorted People Launches New Fashion Streetwear Line in Los Angeles With Rooftop Event at GANGA Tattoo, Helmed by Founders Eli Wehbe and Sascha Gerecht

Distorted People officially launched with its Spring 2022 collection of Urban Street Fashion celebrated with a party at the exclusive tattoo studio and rooftop lounge GANGA Tattoo located in West Hollywood where partygoers indulged in real tattoo art stations by top Ganga artists with featured DJ music by Politik, plus cocktails, wine, beer, refreshments and street food.

Notables at the launch event joining Distorted People brand founders Eli Wehbe and Sascha Gerecht, included Nyjah Huston (pro skater), Ryan Garcia (champion boxer), Mario (music artist), Sarunas Jackson (HBO’s Insecure, HBO Max’ Made for Love, Hulu’s Good Trouble), artist Crime by Design (Ray Vanderbilt), actors, models and social influencers Paris Berelc, Casey Boonstra, Ayla Woodruff, Kalin White, Harlow Jane, Jasper Polish, Oana Gregory, LOVE ISLAND’s Kyra Green and Will Moncada, Christian Plourde, Candy Asmas, Rhys Athayde, Griffin Arnlund, Amelia, Kearney, Taylor Brumann, Trinity Granzow, Mychala Lee, Dara Williams, Hazel Gray, Briar Butler, Aaron Fuller, Haley Gauthier, comedian Kwame Siegel, and many more.

A three-part collection makes up their initial line, inclusive of College-Inspired styles, Athletic-Inspired style and Vintage-Inspired styles, unisex in fit and designed with an edgy aesthetic in mind to push the lines of fashion and provoke “distorted thinking,” reflective of individuality and non-conformity. The event also showcased their exclusive collaboration of limited edition pieces with Ganga.

While the debut collection is officially categorized as men’s, it is also showcased on women throughout their ad campaign, Instagram and digital lookbook, tying back to their nonconformist attitude and right on trend with today’s streetwear culture – and was rocked my many female influencers and models at the bash.

At the party, guests enjoyed specialty cocktails by El Cristiano Premium Tequila in Silver, Reposado and Black label Aged Anéjo, Dos Hombres Signature Mezcal by Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston, Malibu Rocky Oaks Vineyards red and white wine varietals, STAR Beer USA African Lager, and a whiskey bar by Brother’s Bond Bourbon featuring Old Fashioned and neat pours. Partygoers also hydrated with Sound Sparkling Water, PATH alkaline water, Onda Sparkling Tequila Seltzer and Caliwater Cactus Water in Wild Prickly Pear and Ginger & Lime flavors, and a taco street cart offered delicious Mexican cuisine.

Ganga Tattoo, essentially the hottest street tattoo artist studio in Los Angeles, founded by artist Joaquin Ganga, and perhaps one of the most known in the world, has many top clients inclusive of music artists, actors and sports figures such as Post Malone, Drake, Lebron James, Odell Beckham Jr, Gunna and more. Distorted People and Ganga joined forces for the launch celebration, a synergistic match to the streetwear brand aesthetic. The party of approx. 300 guests took over the impressive dome-shaped tattoo studio, indoor atrium and two adjoining rooftop patios.

Distorted People officially makes its U.S. debut helmed by partners, co-founders, creators and designing consultants Eli Wehbe and Sascha Gerecht. Distorted People’s ready-to-wear streetwear styles are made from an extremely high quality of cotton via their design team in Europe, combined with a specialty graphic design team in Germany.
