Michael Jordan Dines at The Guest House, The Newest Restaurant Hotspot To Join The Bustling Austin, Texas Dining Scene

The Guest House is a newly opened dining destination in downtown Austin, a welcomed restaurant and bar addition to the burgeoning and ever-evolving Austin foodie scene. At The Guest House, their mission is to redefine the dining experience, infusing timeless classics with a modern twist. The Guest House is perfect for any occasion, whether it’s a casual meet-up, business meeting, or a special celebration, which is why it has become an Austin hotspot in just a short time, with Gary Clark Jr. and Michael Jordan having dined there both within the last week. Located in the heart of Austin, The Guest House brings a blend of comfort and fine dining at the helm of Executive Chef Todd Mark Miller.

Jordan, in town for Nascar, dined at The Guest House with Nascar driver Denny Hamlin following the big race on Saturday, March 23. The bustling restaurant was excited by the basketball legend’s presence, who was seen enjoying their signature Buttermilk Chicken Tenders, Beet Salad and Free Range Berkshire Pork Chop. The table could also be seen enjoying Michaels’ Cincoro Anejo tequila. Clark Jr. and his wife, supermodel Nicole Trunfio, visited the dining spot with a lively group of friends following a performance at ACL Live Theater, spending several hours at the eatery, especially enjoying the live DJ music. The Guest House has welcomed many other VIPs since opening, in just a short time, making a name for themself locally and nationally.

Signature Menu Items on The Guest House menu overall since inception include Buttermilk Chicken Tenders, BBQ Bacon Sliders, Steak Tartare, Spicy Rigatoni, Wagyu French Onion Burger, an extensive Raw Bar with items such as Maine Lobster, Hamachi Crudo, and Coastal Oysters, to a Caviar menu featuring Ossetra Caviar Toast, a Traditional Caviar Service, and an abundant selection of large plates such as Seared Diver Scallops and The King Ranch Wagyu Steak. The mixology menu features an assortment of delicious cocktails, rich dessert cocktails, and sangria, to items like Jello shots, plus a hot tea and coffee program. Dessert specialties range from Sticky Toffee Pudding to Bananas Foster. All coffee is provided by local coffee roaster Barrett’s Coffee.

Chef Todd Mark Miller is a Utah native, formerly of Fontainebleau Miami’s Gotham Steak.  Known for his $100 Philly Cheesesteak sandwich at Stephen Starr’s luxury steakhouse, Barclay Prime, and Washington Square in Philadelphia. Miller has worked with some of the country’s most notable chefs from Jean-Georges to Nobu Matsuhisa to Jullian Serrano.
